Primavera works with Linden Nut Company to provide premium quality walnuts for markets worldwide. Our walnuts are grown within a ten mile radius, in one mircoclimate. Cool evening breezes reduce the core temperature of the nuts, ensuring the meats with be consistent, light-colored and tasty. Prominent nut-growing areas to the north and south, such as Marysville and Visalia, do not benefit from this cooling breeze. As a result, their nuts tend to sweat, often discoloring the meats.

The Health Tree Brand

We believe our walnuts to be of superior quality not only because of where they are grown, but also because every facet from Growing to Harvesting, to Shelling and Storage is handled exclusively by Linden Nut’s family growers. High quality standards are maintained all the way through Linden Nut’s packing facility until they arrive at Primavera, ready for immediate sale.

Due to our manageable tonnage and high percentage of export quality walnuts, Primavera has no carry-over of product into the following year. So, you can depend on "Health Tree" walnuts always being fresh from our grower’s orchards.

Linden Nut packs and Primavera markets the following varieties of walnuts: Hartley, Eureka, Chandler, Frankete, and Payne. In any given year, Linden Nut will process approximately 1,000 metric tons on in-shell walnuts (both bleached and natural) and 3,000 metric tons of meats. Of this total, 80% will be export quality. To date, our largest international markets are in Japan, Germany, Israel, and Egypt, but our Health Tree reputation continues to grow worldwide.
